Colin Williams – Private Sector Sales and Marketing

Colin has held sales, marketing and senior management roles in companies such as Glaxo, H.J.Heinz, Reckitt Benkiser and Alberto Culver.

Colin has also been very successful in an SME environment where he has completed company turnarounds, re-structuring, acquisitions, and built businesses for either sale or future growth. As an example, Colin took one company from a position of very severe financial problems to a profitable sale. He assisted the owners of another company to sell by restructuring the business relaunching many of the brands, helping to add over 50% to the value of the company in just 18 months.

He has recently returned to a business that had been allowed to stagnate. In less than 2 years as Managing Director it has been restructured and refocused, saving significant overheads and rebuilding it ready for further acquisitions to take place.

Colin is also very experienced in the International marketplace having launched brands successfully in many markets around the world and been Chairman of a European Independent Group of Distributors. Colin has held Managing Director/Chief Executive Roles in Fast Moving Consumer Goods for over 15 years and is a past Director of the Cosmetics, Toiletry & Perfumery Association, representing SME companies on the Industry body.
